Certified Social Worker (CSW) – Therapist in Training  | W2 Hourly |  20 Hour Per Week | Fully Remote (Kentucky, United States)


Job Description

Safe Touch Family Counseling is seeking a Certified Social Worker (CSW) working toward independent licensure who is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and families on their healing journey. This position is designed for therapists in training who are looking to gain free supervision toward Kentucky state licensure, and grow professionally in a supportive environment. As a member of our team, you will provide trauma-informed therapy services while building your clinical skills and developing your therapeutic voice.


Therapists in this role will work with clients experiencing challenges such as sexual violence, abuse, grief, anxiety, emotional distress, and family-related concerns. Caseloads can be tailored to your interests while ensuring you gain meaningful clinical experience.


This is a W2 hourly, fee-for-session position with flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional development. If you are committed to fostering healing, growth, and resilience in the lives of others, we would love to hear from you.


Position Responsibilities


  • Provide trauma-focused therapy to individuals and families impacted by abuse and trauma.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices such as Trauma-Focused CBT and solution-focused therapy.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with client goals.
  • Uphold ethical standards and ensure client confidentiality at all times.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.


Qualifications


  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related mental health field.
  • Clinical Social Worker (CSW) license in Kentucky or eligible to obtain.
  • Interest in working with children, adolescents, and families.
  • Commitment to developing skills in trauma-informed care.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to provide therapy via secure telehealth platforms.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Passion for working with children, trauma, or family systems.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed interventions such as TF-CBT.
  • Interest in developing specialty skills in trauma treatment.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
