Job Description
Safe Touch Family Counseling is seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist for Parenting Assessments (Contractor) to join our team. In this specialized role, you will conduct parenting assessments and provide professional recommendations that help families create safe, nurturing environments. Your work will be instrumental in supporting families through life’s challenges and empowering parents to build healthy, supportive relationships with their children.

Position Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive parenting assessments for families referred by community partners or legal systems.
- Develop detailed reports and professional recommendations to guide parenting plans and interventions.
- Provide trauma-informed support and evidence-based strategies for families navigating challenges.
- Collaborate with attorneys, caseworkers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of all assessments and recommendations.
- Stay updated on best practices and standards related to parenting assessments.
Qualifications
- At least 3+ years of professional experience.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Active LCSW, LMFT, or LPC license in good standing.
- Experience in conducting parenting assessments or working with families in a clinical setting.
- Strong writing skills for detailed reporting and documentation.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and family systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in child welfare, family court, or legal settings.
- Familiarity with parenting assessment tools and frameworks.
- Training in additional therapeutic modalities (e.g., play therapy, family therapy).
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
