Job Description

Safe Touch Family Counseling is seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist (Contractor) to join our dedicated and compassionate team. In this role, you will provide trauma-informed therapy to individuals and families, helping them navigate their healing journey.   • You are a skilled communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
  • You are adaptable, open to feedback, and eager to continuously learn and grow professionally.


Position Responsibilities

  • Provide trauma-focused therapy to individuals and families affected by abuse and trauma.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices, including trauma-focused CBT and solution-focused therapy.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to support clients’ goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with other professionals and community resources as needed.
  • Uphold ethical standards and ensure client confidentiality.


Qualifications

  • At least 3+ years of professional experience.  
  • Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Active LCSW, LMFT, or LPC license in good standing.
  • Experience working with survivors of trauma and abuse.
  • Knowledge of trauma-focused CBT and solution-focused therapy. 


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a remote or teletherapy setting.
  • Familiarity with culturally responsive therapy practices.
  • Training in additional therapeutic modalities (e.g., EMDR, DBT).
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
