Contract Therapist (1099) – Fully Remote (Kentucky, United States) | Flexible Caseload
Job Description
Safe Touch Family Counseling is seeking a Licensed Clinical Contract Therapist (1099) to join our compassionate and mission-driven team. In this role, you will provide therapy to children, adolescents, and/or families, with caseloads tailored to your interests and specialties.
You will deliver trauma-informed therapy to support individuals and families facing challenges such as sexual violence, abuse, grief, anxiety, and emotional distress. If you are committed to fostering healing, growth, and resilience in the lives of others, we would love to hear from you.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide trauma-focused therapy to individuals and families impacted by abuse and trauma.
- Utilize evidence-based practices such as Trauma-Focused CBT and solution-focused therapy.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with client goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Uphold ethical standards and ensure client confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years professional clinical experience.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience working with survivors of trauma and abuse.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
- Newer clinicians are welcomed to apply (support provided).
- Active Kentucky license in good standing (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of evidence-based trauma-informed interventions (e.g., Trauma-Focused CBT, EMDR).
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed therapist (LCSW, CSW, LPC, LPCC, LMFT).
- Comfortable providing therapy via telehealth platforms.
- Passion for working with children and families.
- Familiarity with culturally responsive therapy practices.
- Training in additional modalities such as EMDR or DBT.
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
